Guests judge a hotel by its Wi-Fi too

A hotel runs on technology from the first moment: the booking, check-in, the room key, the TV, the Wi-Fi. When one of those stops working, the guest notices immediately - and the hotel reads about it later in the reviews.

So IT support for hotels is not just fixing faults. It is keeping the network, the hardware and the software in a state where faults simply do not happen.

Network and Wi-Fi across the whole property

Coverage has to reach the entire building - rooms, conference spaces, the restaurant and the common areas. We design and run the network so guest traffic stays separate from the systems the hotel works on: a random guest device reaches neither the front desk nor your data.

On top of that sits the layer the property depends on daily: the booking systems and the hardware behind them. We keep software and devices current, instead of discovering overdue updates during an outage.

Guest data and backups

A hotel processes personal and payment data. Protecting it means firewalls, access control, password-protected devices and up-to-date software - work that has to happen continuously, not once a year.

The other half is backup: automated, regular and proven by a restore test. A copy nobody has ever restored is only a promise - and you usually find that out at the worst possible moment.

Outsourcing instead of an in-house hire

An in-house IT department rarely adds up for a hotel. One specialist costs more than an external team and still cannot know every system the property runs on - networks, servers and security alike.

With outsourcing you get the whole team plus monitoring that sees a problem before the front desk does. Your people look after guests, not after why the printer will not print.

FAQ

Before you ask

Will you take over what we already have?

Yes. We start with an inventory and take over what already works, without replacing everything at once. Changes come later - with a reason for each one.

Can guest Wi-Fi be separated from the hotel network?

Yes, and it should be. We keep guest traffic apart from the systems the property runs on, so a guest device reaches neither the front desk nor your data.

What about a failure at night or at the weekend?

The on-call scope and response times are set in the contract - a hotel works seven days a week, so its IT support has to be ready for that. Monitoring runs continuously, so we see some problems before the front desk reports them.
